Meet our Team
Andrea, Registered Dental Assistant
Andrea joined Dr. Kimberly Harper's office in 2015 as a dental assistant. She graduated from Irving School of Dental Assisting in 2015 and from Texas Woman's University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Andrea loves caring for each patient that comes into the office. Every patient is unique with different dental experiences so she strives to cater and tailor her skills to meet the patients’ needs as their comfort and happiness is top priority. Andrea finds that the most invaluable moments are when patients confide their dental fears and anxieties in her so she can help them have an easy and painless experience.
Andrea is a Dallas, Texas native and when she is not in the office, she enjoys exploring the outdoors; hiking, canoeing and taking her dogs to the dog park. Above that, she also loves spending time with her husband and their families. Her favorite quote is from Vincent van Gogh; "Love many things, for therein lies true strength, and whosoever loves much, performs much and can accomplish much and what is done in love is done well."
Roua, Registered Dental Assistant
Roua has been with our office since the spring of 2014 as a dental assistant and has been in the dental field since 2012. Since beginning her work in the dental field, Roua has realized that most patients are uncomfortable visiting the dentist. To help ease the minds of her patients, she strives to make each dental visit a comfortable and welcoming experience. She believes each person deserves to have a big beautiful smile and reassures them they are in good hands.
Roua grew up in Saudi Arabia and moved to the US when she was in middle school. She continued her education in New Jersey, graduating from Rutgers University. She then moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and attended Concord College for dental assisting. In her free time, Roua enjoys spending time with her family watching movies as well as, traveling and experiencing exciting new things. Her favorite quote is by Maya Angelou, "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."
Riba, Registered Dental Hygienist
Riba became a member of Dr. Harper’s team in January 2018. She has been in the dental field since 2004 when she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Tarrant County College. Riba is a people person and enjoys the social nature of her job from getting to meet new patients to seeing longtime patients that have become friends. She wishes everyone knew how important preventative care is to their overall health. Her favorite patient experience was seeing a 75-year-old man in extreme pain in one tooth that needed a root canal. He felt he was too old to have it fixed, but after spending some time with him and explaining that every tooth is important, he decided to have the treatment. After his procedure, he was grateful to not be in pain and to be able to chew on that side again.
Riba grew up in Tehran, Iran. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, being outdoors, and reading fiction novels. Her favorite quote is by St. Jerome, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better, and your better is best.”
Jayme, Registered Dental Assistant
Jayme joined Dr. Harper’s team in February 2018. She received her certification in dental assisting from Concorde Career Institute in 2011 and is also certified in first aid and CPR. She loves the caring, down-to-earth atmosphere that surrounds the office and enjoys the challenges that come with being a dental assistant. Jayme wishes everyone could see how hard the office works behind-the-scenes and the dedication to detail her job requires. Her favorite patient experience was helping someone with severe dental phobia relax during a simple exam. After their appointment, they hugged her, thanked her, and told her it was the best dental visit they’d ever had. She knew then that Dr. Harper’s office was where she belonged.
Jayme grew up in Canton, TX, and in her free time, she enjoys singing, writing songs, spending time with her husband, and going to church. Her favorite quote is by Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
